In this cross-sectional study, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to test the validity of the 4D-FIS scale. The 4D-FIS scale consists of four domains: quantitative, qualitative, psychological, and social. The Cronbach-α of the 4D-FIS scale was 0.84, indicating that the scale was reliable. CFA confirmed the four-factor structure of the 4D-FIS, with fit indices indicating good model fit. The Turkish 4D-FIS scale was found to be valid and reliable for evaluating food security in the quantitative, qualitative, psychological, and social domains. © 2025 Taylor &amp; Francis Group, LLC.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Taylor and Francis Ltd.</dc:publisher><dc:date>2026</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/10639</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1080/19320248.2025.2609131</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>1932-0248</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Journal of Hunger and Environmental Nutrition</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/10639</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
