This study aims to present the efficiency of the Jaya algorithm for determining the optimal design solution for two-dimensional reinforced concrete frame structures. A three-bay, and three-story frame structure is taken as a numerical example. Turkish standard has been taken into account in the design. The Jaya algorithm is a meta-heuristic that is capable of solving both constrained and unconstrained optimization problems. It is a population-based method that repeatedly modifies a population of individual solutions. It is a gradient-free optimization algorithm. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH</dc:publisher><dc:date>2025</dc:date><dc:type>Conference Object</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/11042</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-031-73161-7_7</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>978-303173160-0</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>2367-3370</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObject</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/11042</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
