We tried to thoroughly investigate how changes in Zn2+ concentration affected the particle size, shape, magnetic properties, optical band gap, and photocatalytic activities of B-ZnxCo1−xFe2O4 nanocomposites. The photodegradation of crystal violet (CV), a model reaction under visible light irradiations, was used to assess the photocatalytic activities of the samples. Compared to other samples, the B-ZnxCo1−xFe2O4 (x=0.5) showed the highest photocatalytic activity, which is best matched to the pseudo-first-order kinetic. According to investigations using reactive species capture, the superoxide radicals have the main role in the degrading process, while the hydroxyl radicals and holes have a secondary and minimal effect, respectively. © 2023 Wiley-VCH GmbH.</dc:description><dc:publisher>John Wiley and Sons Inc</dc:publisher><dc:date>2023</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/12055</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1002/slct.202204568</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>2365-6549</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>ChemistrySelect</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/12055</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
