On a Shishkin-type mesh, a fitted finite difference approach is applied using a composite trapezoidal rule in both; in the integral part of equation and in the initial condition. The proposed technique acquires a uniform second-order convergence in respect to perturbation parameter. Further provided the numerical results to support the theoretical estimates. © 2022, The Author(s) under exclusive licence to Korean Society for Informatics and Computational Applied Mathematics.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Institute for Ionics</dc:publisher><dc:date>2023</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/12272</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1007/s12190-022-01757-4</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>1598-5865</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/12272</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
