We propose three layer difference scheme and obtain the error estimates for its solution. Based on the method of energy estimates the fully discrete scheme is shown to be convergent of order four in space and order two in time. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the theoretical findings. © 2021 Elsevier B.V.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Elsevier B.V.</dc:publisher><dc:date>2022</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/12813</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cam.2021.113786</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>0377-0427</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/12813</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
