To avoid excessive interlaminar stresses in the composites, the contiguity constraint for plies is also taken into consideration. In the design process, both single- and multiobjective optimization approaches, including genetic algorithms, are utilized. Results showed that stacking sequences ensuring lower thermal expansion coefficients and higher elastic moduli than those of traditional laminate designs can be obtained. © 2021, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Springer</dc:publisher><dc:date>2021</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/13342</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1007/s11029-021-09957-y</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>0191-5665</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Mechanics of Composite Materials</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/13342</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
