First, the boundary layer behavior of the exact solution and its first derivative have been estimated. Then we construct a finite difference scheme on a uniform mesh. We prove the uniform convergence of the proposed difference scheme and give an error estimate. We also present numerical examples, which demonstrate computational efficiency of the proposed method. © 2020, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Springer</dc:publisher><dc:date>2020</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/13855</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1007/s10986-020-09471-z</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>0363-1672</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Lithuanian Mathematical Journal</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/13855</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
