Current conveyors which are a type of current mode active elements find large application area in circuit designs. In this paper, we present a novel neuron circuit based on a negative-type second-generation current conveyor (CCII-). The circuit consists of only one CCII- and five MOS transistors and capable of generating fast-spiking firing behavior. Two transistors of them are used as capacitors in proposed neuron circuit. All simulation results are obtained as expected. The presented only-MOS based neuron circuit is compatible with VLSI systems. © 2018 IEEE.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.</dc:publisher><dc:date>2018</dc:date><dc:type>Conference Object</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/14354</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1109/electronics.2018.8443642</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>978-153864749-3</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>2018 22nd International Conference Electronics, ELECTRONICS 2018</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObject</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/14354</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
