A new species of the genus Pachydellus (Acari: Pachylaelapidae) from Giresun Province in Turkey, with some notes on pachylaelapid mites in TurkeyÖzbek, Hasan HüseyinArthropodaMesostigmataPachydellus giresunensissp. novsculptus groupWestern PalaearcticPachydellus giresunensissp. nov. was collected from Pinus litter in Giresun Province, Turkey. It is a member of the Pachydellus sculptus species group. The new species differs from other species in the group by its very long dorsal shield setae and the absence of tubercles on femur IV of the male.
