A combination of iodoarene (ArI), methyltrioxorhenium (MTO), and H2O2 in the presence of pyridine as the co-catalyst efficiently produced singlet molecular oxygen ( 1O2) under biphasic conditions. The existence of 1O2 was demonstrated by trapping experiments with aromatic dienes, 1,3-cyclodienes, and alkenes. The mechanism of 1O 2 production from the iodoarene/MTO/35 % H2O2 system and the reaction scope was also discussed. © 2014 IUPAC &amp; De Gruyter Berlin/Boston 2014.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Walter de Gruyter GmbH</dc:publisher><dc:date>2014</dc:date><dc:type>Conference Object</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/15092</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1515/pac-2013-0812</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>0033-4545</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Pure and Applied Chemistry</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObject</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/15092</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
