With an event selection optimized for t-channel production, two complementary analyses are performed. The first one exploits the special angular properties of the signal, together with background estimates from the data. The second approach uses a multivariate analysis technique to probe the compatibility with signal topology expected from electroweak top-quark production. The combined measurement of the cross section is 83.6±29.8(stat+syst)±3.3(lumi) pb, consistent with the standard model expectation. © 2011 CERN.</dc:description><dc:publisher>American Physical Society</dc:publisher><dc:date>2011</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/15967</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.1103/physrevlett.107.091802</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>0031-9007</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Physical Review Letters</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/15967</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
