Radon measurements were done for 4 seasons in 73 dwellings, selected as uniformly distributed as possible. The radon concentrations vary from 21 aq m(-3) to 321 aq m(-3) with the annual mean concentration of 132 aq m(-3) for Artvin Seasonal variation indoor radon shows high in winter low values in summer. The resulting estimated annual effective dose-equivalent due to inhalation of radon for inhabitants is 3.32 mSv y(-1) and the total annual effective dose lies in the range of the action level (3-10 mSv y(-1)) recommended by the ICRP</dc:description><dc:publisher>AMER INST PHYSICS</dc:publisher><dc:date>2009</dc:date><dc:type>Conference Object</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/16540</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>978-0-7354-0740-4</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>0094-243X</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>7TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE BALKAN PHYSICAL UNION VOLS 1 AND 2</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObject</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/16540</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
