Delimitative Constructions Formed with the Morpheme /+CA/ in TurkishÜNAL, Muhammed SamiDil ve Dil BilimThere are various interpretations and uncertainties regarding the origin and function of the morpheme /+CA/ in Turkic languages. Its delimitative function appears to parallel certain postpositions found across many Turkic varieties, such as cek, çaḳı, çaḳlıġ, çamalı, çekem, çen, çenli, çeyin. Whether these items share only a functional similarity with +ça, or also an etymological link, remains a subject of debate.
