Reattachment was achieved in 3 of 4 cases (75%) with a single intracameral sulfur hexafluoride injection. Case 4 had a long- term Descemet membrane detachment that was adherent to other anterior segment structures and thus unresponsive to repetitive intracameral gas injections. Therefore, a successful Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty was performed on this patient. A 10% sulfur hexafluoride injection seems to be a safe and effective method for uncomplicated Descemet membrane detachment; however, Descemet membrane endo- thelial keratoplasty surgery should be favored in complicated cases unresponsive to intracameral injections.</dc:description><dc:date>2023</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/18094</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.5152/abcr.2023.220818</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>2687-4520</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Archives of Basic and Clinical Research</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/18094</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
