While employees who express their\ropinions and share their knowledge in organizations positively improve their business\rperformance, employees who prefer to remain silent have a decreased sense of belonging\rand the intention to leave their jobs emerges. In this context, the aim of the study is to\rexamine the impact of organizational silence levels of hotel business employees on their\rturnover intentions. The research was carried out with 194 people working in the food and\rbeverage department in 3, 4 and 5 star hotel businesses operating in Konya province. As a\rresult of the research, it was determined that there was a significant relationship between\rorganizational silence and turnover intention. When looking at the sub-factors of\rorganizational silence, acquiescent and defensive silence is related to turnover intention,\rthe prosocial silence is not related to turnover intention. It has been determined that\rorganizational silence explains the intention to leave by 11.6%.</dc:description><dc:date>2022</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/18198</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.21325/jotags.2022.996</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:relation>Journal of Tourism and Gastronomy Studies</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/18198</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
