Method: The descriptive study was conducted with female (n=337) between the ages of 15-49 who applied to three Family Health Centers in Trabzon city center for any reason, between April-June 2019. The data were collected using a questionnaire questioning the socio-demographic characteristics of the individuals and the drugs they use. Percentage and chi-square tests were used in the statistical analysis of the data. Results: 45.7% of the participants were in the age group of 41 and over (mean= 35.6±10.2), 75.7% were married, 43.0% were high school graduate, 32.0% had two children, 60.8% do not work, 57.6 had not chronic illness and 42.1% of them were used to use of the group of analgesic drugs. It was found that there was a statistically significant difference between the presence of chronic disease and the accumulation of drugs at home (p&lt;0.05). Conclusion: It was found that the participants used the most analgesic drug group, used the drug that was good for others, recommended drugs to the people around them, and generally used non-prescription drugs. It is seen that there is no awareness of drug use and that health institutions are used.</dc:description><dc:date>2022</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/18292</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.17942/sted.778680</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>1300-0853</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:relation>STED/Sürekli Tıp Eğitimi Dergisi</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/18292</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
