Among the Rhizobium species (R. radiobacter, R. rhizogenes, R. rubi, R. vitis) that can cause opportunistic infections in immunosup pressive individuals, R.radiobacter is the most common type of infection in humans. It is more related to the presence of foreign bodies; R. radiobacter, which can cause various infections such as bacteremia, cellulitis, endocarditis, urinary tract infection, and endophthalmitis, can also be a rare cause of pneumonia. When the literature is reviewed, it is seen that it causes more perito nitis in individuals with Down syndrome. In this case report, we aimed to present pneumonia caused by R. radiobacter, which is rarely detected as a causative agent, in a 9-month-old baby with Down syndrome and congenital heart disease who applied to our hospital with complaints of cough and rapid breathing.</dc:description><dc:date>2022</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/18344</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>https://doi.org/10.54614/abcr.2021.21003</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>2687-4520</dc:identifier><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>Archives of Basic and Clinical Research</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/18344</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
