In this study, we investigated the germination behavior of Onosma discedens with different concentrations of NaCI, HCl, KNO3, GA3 (100 and 200 ?M) or hot-cold stratification/mechanical scarification. Seeds under the light and dark treatments were exposed to a photoperiod of 8 h light/16 h dark hours with a 23/18 &amp;deg;C thermoperiod. Germination rates increased with KNO3-100 &amp;micro;M (% 12), GA3-100 &amp;micro;M (% 25), GA3-200 &amp;micro;M (% 35), HCI-100 &amp;micro;M (% 9) treatments when compared to the control. The highest speed of germination index was obtained at concentrations of 100-200 &amp;micro;M KNO3. Overall, our results will provide valuable data for ex situ conservation of endemic Onosma discedens.</dc:description><dc:date>2016</dc:date><dc:type>Article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/18863</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>1308-5301</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:relation>Biological Diversity and Conservation</dc:relation><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/18863</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
