Vocabulary of Aytul Akal's Story Book named Balloons on theYURT, Serap UZUNEREğitimEğitim AraştırmalarıEdebiyatIt is important that literary works written for children to be rich in terms of vocabulary. Aim of this study is to determine the vocabulary of Aytul Akal's story book named Balloons on the Sky. Descriptive survey model was applied in this study. The data of this study were collected by using qualitative approaches and document analysis was used in the study. Words, idioms, proverbs, doubling, routine words and proper nouns which are the components of vocabulary were found via content analysis. Frequency index of the words of computerized story text was formed by using Cibakaya 2.3 version.
