Most species reported from this country have been published in a widerange of different journals, mainly by Turkish researchers and a few by theircolleagues from other countries, so there was a need to combine them in onepaper. To date, about 250 papers on the taxonomy, fauna, morphology, biologyand other related fields have been published by 90 authors. Presently,Raphignathoidea is represented in Turkey by 217 species in 26 genera of 8families.
