Materyal ve Metot: Bu araştırma metodolojik ve ilişki arayıcı bir araştırmadır. Araştırma iki aşamada yürütülmüş olup ilk aşamada BYTÖ Kısa Formunun geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri 248 yetişkin birey ile yapılmış, ikinci aşamada çalışma 309 yetişkin birey ile tamamlanmıştır. Veriler; Tanımlayıcı Bilgi Formu, BYTÖ Kısa Formu, YTT-26, EDE-Q-13 ve Duygusal Yeme Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmış ve ölçeğin geçerlik-güvenirlik analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular: Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 30.76±9.53 yıl olup %78.3’ü kadındır. BYTÖ Kısa Formunun tek faktörlü yapıyı koruduğu ve Cronbach α katsayısının 0.826 olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca BYTÖ puanları ile YTT-26, EDE-Q-13 ve Duygusal Yeme Ölçeği puanları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Sonuç: BYTÖ Kısa Formunun Türkçe versiyonunun yetişkin bireylerde bozulmuş yeme tutumunu değerlendirmede geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma bulguları, bozulmuş yeme tutumunun duygusal yeme davranışları ve yeme bozukluğu belirtileriyle güçlü, anlamlı ve birbirini destekleyen bir ilişki içinde olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.Aim: This study was conducted to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Short Form of the Disordered Eating Attitude Scale (DEAS-s) and to examine the relationship between the DEAS-s and the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26), Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q-13) and Emotional Eating Scale. In the first stage, the validity and reliability analyses of the Turkish version of the Short Form of the Disordered Eating Attitude Scale (DEAS-s) were performed with 248 adults. In the second stage, the study was completed with 309 adults. Data were collected using the Descriptive Information Form, the DEAS-s, the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26), the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q-13) and the Emotional Eating Scale and the validity and reliability analyses of the scale were conducted. Results: The mean age of the participants was 30.76±9.53 years and 78.3% were female. The DEAS Short Form preserved its single-factor structure and the Cronbach α coefficient was found to be 0.826. In addition, positive significant relationships were found between DEAS-s scores and YT-26, EDE-Q-13 and Emotional Eating Scale scores (p<0.05). Conclusion: The Turkish version of the DEAS Short Form was found to be a valid and reliable measurement tool for evaluating disordered eating attitudes in adults.
