Çalışmada karma araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2017- 2018 eğitim öğretim yılı içerisinde iki devlet üniversitesi ve iki özel üniversitede ÇAP ve KYG programları yapan 2, 3 ve 4. Sınıfta öğrenin gören 82 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, Kişisel Bilgi Formu (KBF), Mesleki Sonuç Beklentisi Ölçeği (MSBÖ), Kariyer Gelişiminde Aile Etkisi Ölçeği (KGAEÖ) ve Kariyer Kararı Yetkinlik Beklentisi Ölçeği (KKYBÖ) ve Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler Kruskal-Wallis testi ve Mann Whitney U Testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre ÇAP ve KYG yapan öğrencilerin kariyer kararsızlığı yaşamalarında anne-baba eğitimi, ilgi durumu, değer-inanç, maddi durum ve cinsiyet değişkenleri açısından anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı; ancak bilgi destek açısından anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına bağlı olarak, öğrencilerin kariyer kararsızlığı ve kariyer uyumsuzluğu yaşamamaları için mesleki rehberlik ve kariyer danışmanlığı açısından araştırmacılara, öğretmenlere, üniversitede akademik danışmanlara ve ailelere önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Anahtar kelimeler: Meslek seçimi, mesleki değerlilik, mesleki kararsızlık, kurum içi yatay geçiş ve çift anadal.This study aims to determine which variables, in terms of professional guidance and career counselling, are effective in explaining the movements of the students towards a different direction while they are participating in a horizontal transition or double major program. In this study, a mixed research design is utilized. The study group of the research is composed of 82 number of second, third- and fourth-year students, who are attending in a double major program or in-institutional horizontal transition and studying in two different private and two public universities. As the data collection mechanism, Personal Information Form (PIF), Professional Outcome Expectation Measure (POEM), Family Effect in Career Development (FECD), Measure for Expectation of Competence in Career Decision (MECCD)and semi-structured interview form are used. The data obtained from the results of the study are analysed by using Kruskal-Wallis and Manny Whitney U tests. According to the results of the study, there is no significant difference in the in determination of the horizontal transition or double major program students about the career of students according to mother-father education, concern status, value-belief, income level, and gender, but, there is a significant difference in terms of information support. As a result of the study, for saving the students from the career in determination and disharmony, some suggestions for researchers, teachers, academic advisors in universities and families are made.
