Zaman bu şekli ile Kur'ân'da yer almasa da farklı kelime ve kalıplarla çokça kullanılmıştır. Kasem ise bir şeyin değerini yükseltmek, ona dikkat çekmek sûretiye önemini vurgulamak için kullanılan bir üslûptur. Kur'ân'da pek çok şeye yemin edilmiştir. Bu yemin edilen unsurlardan birisi de zamandır. Bu çalışmada önce zaman kavramı ele alınmış, ardından kasem kavramı incelenmiştir. Daha sonrada Kur'ân'da zaman kavramları üzerine yapılan yeminler çeşitli yönleri ile örnekler üzerinden anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Tarihsel metod ve tarama modeli ile yapılan bu araştırma sonucunda, Kur'ân'da zaman kavramı üzerinde önemle durulduğunu, önemini hatırlatmak amaca ile zaman kavramlarına yemin edildiğini, böylece zaman konusunda insanların yanılgıdan sakındırıldığı anlaşılmıştır. Kasem, on the other hand, is a style used to increase the value of something, to draw attention to it, to emphasize its importance. Many things are sworn in the Qur'an. One of these sworn elements is time. In this study, first the concept of time was discussed, and then the concept of kasem was examined. Afterwards, the oaths made on the concepts of time in the Qur'an were tried to be explained through examples with various aspects. As a result of this research carried out with the historical method and scanning model, it has been understood that the concept of time is emphasized in the Qur'an, that the concept of time is sworn to remind of its importance, so that people are prevented from making mistakes about time.
