Materyal ve Metot: Bu çalışma, Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı'na bağlı tüm kuruluşlardaki çalışanlar üzerine yapılan bir nicel araştırmadır. Toplam 597 çalışandan oluşan örneklem, Erzurum, Trabzon, Kocaeli, Manisa, Adana, Konya ve Gaziantep Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürlükleri'nde çalışan 246 kadın ve 351 erkekten oluşmaktadır. Veri analizlerinde Kruskal-Wallis H testi ve Mann-Whitney U Testi kullanılmıştır. Anlamlı karşılaştırmalarda Bonferroni düzeltmesi testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırma, cinsiyet, fakülte türü, spor alışkanlıkları, eğitim düzeyi, görev süresi ve spor türüne bağlı olarak anlamlı farklar tespit etti. Ancak, medeni durum, gelir, ünvan ve genel spor türü arasında anlamlı fark gözlenmedi. Spor farkındalık seviyeleri erkekler lehine yüksek bulundu, Spor Bilimleri mezunlarının farkındalık ve iş performansı diğer mezunlardan daha yüksekti. Yaş arttıkça iş performansı artış gösterdi, Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürlüğü çalışanlarının spor farkındalık seviyeleri ile iş performansları arasında pozitif ilişki bulundu Sonuç: Spor bakanlığı çalışanlarında eğitim düzeyi ve yaş ile beraber iş performansının da arttığı, Spor Bilimleri Fakülltesi mezunlarının spor farkındalık düzeyi ve iş performansının daha yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Gençlik ve spor müdürlüklerinde çalışan personelin spor farkındalık düzeyleri arttıkça iş performanslarının da arttığı söylenebilir.Aim: The purpose of this study is to examine the sports awareness levels and job performances of employees in the Provincial Directorates of Youth and Sports under the Ministry of Youth and Sports according to various variables. Material and Method: This study is a quantitative, cross-sectional research. The research population consists of employees of all organizations under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the sample comprises a total of 597 organizational employees, including 246 women and 351 men working in Youth and Sports Provincial Directorates in Erzurum, Trabzon, Kocaeli, Manisa, Adana, Konya, and Gaziantep. Data analysis was performed using the Kruskal-Wallis H test and Mann-Whitney U Test, with Bonferroni correction used for multiple pairwise comparisons in significant cases. Results: It is found statistically significant differences according to the gender of the participants, the type of faculty they graduated from, their sports activities, educational status, tenure and type of sports activity. No significant difference is found according to marital status, income level, tittle and type of sport performed. It is observed that sports awareness levels were significantly higher in favor of male participants, and participants who graduated from the Faculty of Sports Sciences had significantly higher sports awareness levels and job performances than other graduate participants. It has been observed that as the age of corporate employees increases, their job performance also tends to increase. It has been determined that there is a positive significant relationship between the Sports Awareness Levels and Job Performances of employees in the Provincial Directorates of Youth and Sports. Conclusion: It is seen that the job performance of the Ministry of Sports employees increases with the education level and age, and the sports awareness level and job performance of the graduates of the Faculty of Sports Sciences are higher.
