Bu bakımdan gazeteyi ekonomik, sosyal, siyasi, yönden ele alarak 1942-1951 yılları arasında Erzincan'daki gelişmeler incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde Erzincan coğrafi yapısı ve siyasi tarihinden Cumhuriyet dönemine kadar kısaca bahsedilmiştir. Bununla birlikte yaşanan 1939 depremi anlatılıp, ardından basın hayatı ve Yeni Erzincan gazetesi hakkında da bilgiler verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde gazete haberleri ışığında ekonomik ve sosyal alanda yapılan haberlere değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde siyasal alanlar, üçüncü bölümde eğitim, sağlık ve spor alanları ile ilgili haberlere değinilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde ise mevcut bilgilere dayanılarak bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Tek Partili İktidar döneminde Erzincan'a yapılan ve yapılmak istenen yatırımlar, bu dönemde halledilemeyen sorunlar ve DP'nin iktidara gelmesiyle vilayette gelişen ve değişen durumlar hakkında sonuçları çıkarılmıştır.By researching the first and only local newspaper published in Erzincan between 1942 and 1951, the goal of this study is to shed light on the city's recent history. In this regard, the newspaper's economic, social, and political facets were taken into consideration as we looked at the events in Erzincan between 1942 and 1951. The geographical makeup of Erzincan and its political history up to the republican period are briefly discussed in the study's introduction. Additionally, information about the press and the Yeni Erzincan newspaper was provided, as well as an explanation of the earthquake of 1939. The first section of the essay discusses recent events in the economic and social spheres in the context of newspaper reports. The news in the political sectors is covered in the second section, while the news in the fields of education, health, and sports is covered in the third section. Based on the evidence at hand, an assessment was formed in the conclusion section.
