Dr. Yasin Mahmut Yakar</dc:contributor><dc:description xml:lang="tr">Okul öncesi dönemden itibaren kitaplarla etkileşim halinde olan çocuklarda toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin doğru bir algı oluşturmak için kitaplarda yer alan karakterlere biçilen rollerin kişilik haklarına saygıyı ön plana alan, eşitliği savunan ve demokratik bir tutum sergileyen bir çizgide ortaya konulması önem arz etmektedir. Bu nedenle çalışmamızda Birsen Ekim Özen'in seçilen çocuk kitaplarında yer alan toplumsal cinsiyet rollerini ortaya koyması bakımından incelenmiştir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi ve doküman analizi deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada Birsen Ekim Özen'in Aura, Katpatuka, Cam Kafes, Mühürler Sandığı Sümer, Mühürler Sandığı Mısır, Mühürler Sandığı Olimpiyatlar ve Mühürler Sandığı Roma isimli 7 kitabı incelenmiştir. Elde edilen verilere bakıldığında kitaplardaki her karakterin toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri bakımından geleneksel kalıp yargılara sahip olduğunu söylemek mümkünken giderek modernleşen bir toplumsal yapıya geçişle birlikte çoğu kalıbın dışına çıkıldığını ve artık her iki cinse ait rollerin eşit düzlemde bir seyirde olduğunu, rollerin giderek birbirine yaklaştığını söylemek mümkündür. Yani kitaplarda toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri bakımından olumsuz iletilere rastlamak mümkünken genele bakıldığında toplumsal cinsiyet kalıp yargılarını yıkan ve roller anlamında olumlu iletiler veren kaynaklar olduğu söylenebilir.</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="en">In order to create a correct perception of gender roles in children who have been interacting with books since the pre-school period, it is important that the roles assigned to the characters in the books are put forward in a line that emphasizes respect for personal rights, advocates equality and displays a democratic attitude. For this reason, in our study, Birsen Ekim Özen was examined in terms of revealing the gender roles in the selected children's books. The document analysis design, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. In the study, 7 books of Birsen Ekim Özen named Aura, Katpatuka, Cam Kafes, Mühürler Sandığı Sümer, Mühürler Sandığı Mısır, Mühürler Sandığı Olimpiyatlar ve Mühürler Sandığı Roma were examined. When we look at the data, it is possible to say that every character in the books has traditional stereotypes in terms of gender roles, but with the transition to an increasingly modern social structure, it is possible to say that most of the stereotypes have been broken and that the roles of both sexes are on an equal course, and the roles are getting closer to each other. In other words, while it is possible to come across negative messages in terms of gender roles in the books, it can be said that there are sources that break down gender stereotypes and give positive messages in terms of roles.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University</dc:publisher><dc:date>2023</dc:date><dc:type>Master Thesis</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/27130</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/27130</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
