Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, sessiz kitapların çocuk yayınlarına özgü unsurlar açısından değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırmanın modeli, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman incelemesidir. Veri kaynakları, kurguya sahip olma ve erişilebilirlik ölçütleri dikkate alınarak seçilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında 42'si yabancı, 10'u yerli, toplam 52 sessiz kitap incelenmiştir. Belirlenen sessiz kitapların çocuk yayınlarında bulunması gereken temel unsurlar açısından incelenebilmesi için "Sessiz Kitapları Değerlendirme Rubriği" araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Lawshe tekniği kullanılarak SKDR'nin geçerlik çalışması yapılmıştır. İçerik analizinin güvenirliğini sağlamak amacıyla aynı veri kaynakları araştırmacı tarafından farklı zaman dilimlerinde yeniden incelenmiştir. Yapılan incelemelerin ardından danışman tarafından kitapların %10'u tekrar değerlendirilmiştir. SKDR görsel dil, görsel tasarım, karakter ve konu olmak üzere dört temel unsurdan oluşmaktadır. Toplamda 60 maddeden oluşan rubrik aracılığıyla seçilen 52 sessiz kitap, Haziran–Ağustos ayları arasında araştırmacı tarafından üç kez analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, sessiz kitapların 40'ının görsel dil, 35'inin görsel tasarım, 44'ünün karakter ve 43'ünün konu unsurları açısından uygun olduğu belirlenmiştir. Genel değerlendirme sonucunda ise sessiz kitapların 39'unun uygun, 5'inin kısmen uygun ve 9'unun uygun olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="en">Silent books, which have gained recognition and popularity in various fields, need to be examined as publications aimed at children. The main objective of this research is to evaluate silent books in terms of elements specific to children's publications. The research model is document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. Data sources were selected based on the criteria of having a narrative and accessibility. Within the scope of the research, a total of 52 silent boks were examined, 42 of which were foreign and 10 were domestic. The 'Silent Book Evaluation Rubric' was developed by the researcher so that the identified silent boks could be examined in terms of the basic elements that should be found in children's publications. The validity study of the SKDR was conducted using the Lawshe technique. To ensure the reliability of the content analysis, the same data sources were re-examined by the researcher at different time intervals. Following the examinations, 10% of the boks were re-evaluated by the advisor. The SCER consists of four fundamental elements: visual language, visual design, characters, and subject matter. A total of 52 silent boks selected through a rubric consisting of 60 items were analysed three times by the researcher between June and August. The results of the research determined that 40 of the silent boks were suitable in terms of visual language, 35 in terms of visual design, 44 in terms of characters, and 43 in terms of subject matter. The overall evaluation concluded that 39 of the silent boks were suitable, 5 were partially suitable, and 9 were unsuitable.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University</dc:publisher><dc:date>2025</dc:date><dc:type>Master Thesis</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/r/ebyu/27551</dc:identifier><dc:language>tr</dc:language><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis</dc:type><dc:identifier>https://ebyu-rdlopen.rawdatalibrary.net/tr/items/ebyu/27551</dc:identifier></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
