The Patriotism in Sakir Selim's Poems

In this study, on the base of his poems, it is given information about the patriotism of Sakir Selim, who, while just two years old, experienced the exile of Crimean Tatar Turks from their native land and who is a poet that has struggled until the end of his life in order for the Crimean Turks to live as an independent people in their native land; but the patriotism of the artist is highlighted. Sakir Selim is a person who carries patriotisim in his soul throughout his life. Sakir Selim's love of country and nation is so sincere and intimate. Thus, the poem sees as an indispensable duty on all occasions to mention about his country and nation. To propound Sakir Selim's patriotism, it is applied to what the poet himself wrote and to innumerable resources that were written about him.
