Some characterizations of hyperbolic Ricci solitons on nearly cosymplectic manifolds with respect to the Tanaka-Webster connection

    Altunbaş, Murat

It is known that a hyperbolic Ricci soliton is one of the generalization of the Ricci solitons and it is a Riemannian manifold (𝑀, 𝑔) furnished with a differentiable vector field 𝑈 on 𝑀 and two real numbers 𝜆 and 𝜇 ensuring 𝑅𝑖𝑐 + 𝜆𝐿𝑈 𝑔 + 1 2 𝐿𝑈 (𝐿𝑈 𝑔) = 𝜇𝑔, where 𝐿𝑈 denotes the Lie derivative with respect to the vector field 𝑋 on 𝑀. Furthermore, hyperbolic Ricci solitons yield similar solutions to hyperbolic Ricci flow. In this paper, we study hyperbolic Ricci solitons on nearly cosymplectic manifolds endowed with the Tanaka-Webster connection. We give some results for these manifolds when the potential vector field is a pointwise collinear with the Reeb vector field and a concircular vector field.

A Short Note on a Mus-Cheeger-Gromoll Type Metric

    Altunbaş, Murat

In this paper, we first show that the complete lift $U^{c}$ to $TM$ of a vector field $U$ on $M$ is an infinitesimal fiber-preserving conformal transformation if and only if $U$ is an infinitesimal homothetic transformation of $(M,g)$. Here, $(M, g)$ is a Riemannian manifold and $TM$ is its tangent bundle with a Mus-Cheeger-Gromoll type metric $\\tilde{g}$. Secondly, we search for some conditions under which $\\left(\\overset{h}{\\nabla},\\tilde{g}\\right)$ is a Codazzi pair on $TM$ when $(\\nabla, g)$ is a Codazzi pair on $M$ where $\\overset{h}{\\nabla}$ is the horizontal lift of a linear connection $\\nabla$ on $M$. We finally discuss the need for further research.

Spinor Representations of Involute Evolute Curves in $E^3$

    Kardağ, Neslihan Cansu; Erişir, Tülay

In this paper, we have obtained spinor with two complex components representations ofInvolute Evolute curves in $E^3$. Firstly, we have given the spinor equations of Frenet vectorsof two curves which are parameterized by arc-length and have an arbitrary parameter. Moreover, we have chosen that these curves are Involute Evolute curves and have matchedthese curves with different spinors. Then, we have investigated the answer of question”How are the relationships between the spinors corresponding to the Involute Evolute curvesin $E^3$?”. Finally, we have given an example which crosscheck to theorems throughout thisstudy
