M. E. Yurdakul who has an important place as national, public and socialpoet in Turkish literature, opened an epoch based mainly on freedom ofTurkish language with his poetry, such as examining public life by thelanguagee of the public.The life styles and values he observed and acknowledged in both simplelife of his family environment and his social environment became majorinfluence in shaping the principles of his art. Then he used the life in Anatolia with large number of people as subjectmatter of his portry. His poetry reccurently includes desolate young ladiesand old women with their poor lives.
