Gümüşhane şehir gelişim sürecinin mekânsal analizi

Gümüşhane şehrinde gerçekleşen şehir gelişim sürecinin yavaş ve sorunlu ilerlemesi çalışmamızın problem ve çıkış noktasını teşkil etmektedir. Çalışma bu çerçevede hazırlanmıştır. Fiziki ve beşeri coğrafya şartlarının Gümüşhane şehir gelişim süreci üzerinde ne şekilde bir etki ortaya çıkardığını belirlemek ve coğrafi bakış açısıyla değerlendirmek çalışmamızın asıl amacını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada mekânsal anlamda yapılan analizlerde 1988, 1999, 2008, 2018 ve 2021 yıllarına ait Landsat 7 uydu görüntülerinin yanında uzaktan algılama ve coğrafi bilgi sistemleri kullanılmıştır. Uydu görüntüleri üzerinde yapılan sınıflama yöntemi ile 1988, 1999, 2008, 2018 ve 2021 yıllarına ait şehir alanı belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen şehir alanı üzerine oluşturulan yükselti, eğim, bakı, jeoloji, bitki ve toprak haritaları aktarılmıştır. Analizin devamında şehir ile fiziki coğrafya özellikleri değerlendirilmiştir. Fiziki coğrafya özellikleri ve şehir yapısı arasındaki ilişki coğrafi bilgi sistemleri sayesinde ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Çalışmamızda coğrafi şartların Gümüşhane şehrinin mekânsal anlamdaki büyüme ve gelişme sürecine belirgin etkilerde bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Daha çok fiziki coğrafya şartlarında ortaya çıkan bu etki şehrin ekonomik gelişiminde de belirleyici rol oynamaktadır.

The slow and problematic progress of the city development process that took place in the city of Gümüşhane constitutes the problem and starting point of our study. The study will be done within this framework. The main purpose of our study is to determine the effects of physical and human geography conditions on Gümüşhane city development process and to evaluate it from a geographical point of view. In the study, in the spatial analysis, Landsat 7 satellite images of 1988, 1999, 2008, 2018 and 2021 were used, as well as remote sensing and geographic information systems. The city area for the years 1988, 1999, 2008, 2018 and 2021 was determined by the classification method on satellite images. The elevation, slope, aspect, geology, vegetation and soil maps created were transferred to the determined city area. In the continuation of the analysis, the city and its physical geography features were evaluated. The relationship between physical geography features and city structure has been revealed by geographic information systems. In our study, it has been determined that geographical conditions have significant effects on the spatial growth and development process of the city of Gümüşhane. This effect, which occurs mostly in physical geography conditions, also plays a decisive role in the economic development of the city.
