Ortaöğretim öğrencilerinde sosyal onay ihtiyacı, psikolojik iyi oluş ve olumsuz değerlendirilme korkusu arasındaki ilişkilerin yordanması: Gümüşhane ili örneği

Bu araştırma ortaöğretim öğrencilerinde sosyal onay ihtiyacı, psikolojik iyi oluş ve olumsuz değerlendirilme korkusu arasındaki ilişkilerin yordanması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında Gümüşhane'de bulunan resmi ortaöğretim kurumlarında öğrenimine devam eden öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak: Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Sosyal Onay İhtiyacı Ölçeği, Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği, Olumsuz Değerlendirilme Korkusu Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde Bağımsız Örneklem T testi ve One-way ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Anlamlı çıkan analizlerde hangi gruplar arasında fark olduğunun belirlenmesi için, Levene Test sonuçlarına göre Games-Howell, Horcberg GT2 ve post hoc analizleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre sosyal onay ihtiyacı ile cinsiyet, okul türü, sınıf düzeyi, gelir düzeyi, anne-baba tutumu değişkenleri arasında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Psikolojik iyi oluş ile cinsiyet, gelir düzeyi, anne-baba tutumu değişkenleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık elde edilmiştir. Olumsuz değerlendirilme korkusu ile demografik değişkenler arasında istatisiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. Araştırmada sosyal onay ihtiyacının olumsuz değerlendirilme korkusunun yordayıcıları arasında olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

This research was conducted to predict the relationships between high school students' need for social approval, psychological well-being, and fear of negative evaluation. This research working group; It consists of students who continue their education in official secondary education institutions in Gümüşhane in the 2020-2021 academic year. In the study, as data collection tools: Personal Information Form, Need for Social Approval Scale, Psychological Well-Being Scale, and Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale were applied. T test and One-way ANOVA were used in the analysis of the data obtained in the study. Games-Howell analyzes, Horcberg GT2 and post hoc analyzes according to Levene Test analyzes to find out which groups differ in significant ones. According to the findings obtained in the study, a significant difference was found between the need for social approval and the variables of gender, school type, class level, income level and parental attitude. A significant difference was found between psychological well-being and the variables of gender, income level and parental attitude. No statistically significant difference was found between fear of negative evaluation and demographic variables. In the study, it was determined that the need for social approval was among the predictors of the fear of negative evaluation.
