Özet

Intercultural communication is discussed in modern times as a concept that tries to analyse the similarity of human beings who ironically come together again after completing the adventure of creating different cultures by separating from each other. Are differences a factor of separation or a source of enrichment? This question is the fundamental dilemma of the field. The study sought to determine the level of cultural sensitivity, which aims to ensure tolerance and acceptance of differences, among students. This study, which was carried out on students attending an intercultural communication course, aims to compare the results obtained by measuring the level of intercultural sensitivity of the students before and after attending the course. As a result of the findings, it was observed that there was a significant difference between the cultural sensitivity level of the students before taking the course and the cultural sensitivity level after taking the course.
