A case of subcutaneous sacrococcygeal myxopapillary ependymoma demonstrating anaplastic features

Özet
Subcutaneous sacrococcygeal myxopapillary ependymoma is an extremely rare type of gliomas which originates from ecto- pic ependymal rests and usually occurs in adults. These slowly growing tumors have a favorable prognosis. Anaplastic variants are virtually unknown. We present the clinical, histopathologic and immunohistochemical analytic findings of sacrococcygeal subcutaneous sited myxopapillary ependymoma with cellular anaplasia and metastases in a 46-year-old male patient.
