Özet

In this research Austrian botanist Edvard Formanek and Italian botanist Antonio Baldacci’s works in the Balkans geography are evaluated in the ligth of the Ottoman Archive Documentaries. More over, in the addition to the abovementioned botanists, dates of the European botanists who travelled across the Ottoman geography and regions they travelled to are listed in tables as well as the botanists who were awarded by the Ottoman State owing to their achivements.
