Bu çalışmanın amacı Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi Öğretim Programında yer alanyapılandırmacılığa dayalı öğelerin öğretmenler tarafından sınıf ortamında ne dereceve nasıl uygulandığını belirlemektir. Çalışmada değerlendirici (evaluative) durumçalışması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafındangeliştirilen “Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi Yapılandırmacı Ortam Gözlem Formu”ndanyararlanılmıştır. Çalışma, Erzurum ve Erzincan il merkezlerinde amaçlı örneklemeyöntemi ile seçilen 7 Fen ve Teknoloji öğretmeni ile yürütülmüştür. Her biröğretmen 32 ders saati olmak üzere toplamda 224 ders saati gözlenmiş ve gözlemlervideo kamera yardımıyla kayıt altına alınmıştır. Gözlemlerin çözümlenmesisonucunda amaçlanan Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi Öğretim Programı ile öğretmenlertarafından uygulanan Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi Öğretim Programı arasındauyumsuzluk olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to determine the students' views about the science activities in the project of "Little Scientists in Discovery". In this survey data were collected from 127 secondary school students at 6 and 7 grades in 2011-2012 academic year. 21 th th activities in the field of physics, chemistry and biology were applied in the process of practice. On the other hand, outdoor activities on a specific field trip were included in activities. The activities aim instead of learning several information, to realize the basic scientific circumstance and to create curiosity of inquiry of participants. "Student Activity Evaluation Survey", which includes six open ended questions, was applied to participants in order to determine the students' perceptions about the activities. Content analysis was used for data analyze. According to the research findings, it can be said that students felt responsible during their learning as they actively participated in the process. Besides, students' attention and participation is at a high level. These activities may create a sense of wonder in students and increase their interest towards science. In addition, students may both learn and enjoy with these activities

The aim of the study is to determine perceptions of science and technology teachers towards learning and how learning occurs. In this qualitative study, data were collected trough semi-structured interviews from seven science and technology teachers. Obtained data were analyzed and interpreted by the help of content analyze technique. Research results show that teachers’ perception of learning is more or less close to the 2005 Science and Technology curriculum. Concerning how meaningful learning occurs teachers thought that teacher has to be in the center, while they thought students should be active during learning process. They have tried to explain the construction of knowledge as either student do activities by themselves, or students make knowledge meaningful in their minds. Teachers expressed opinions about student-centered learning is not clear. As a result, it is determined that teachers have perceptions that students should be active in learning process that meaningful learning and knowledge construction to be taking place through student-centered activities, however, they have difficulties in making students active.
