Half inverse problem for the discontinuous Dirac operator with the spectral parameter boundary conditions

Wang, Kai; Xu, Xin-Jian; Sat, Murat; Zhang, Ran

In this work, we consider the Dirac operator with the spectral parameter boundary conditions and the jump condition at the pointπ . We investigate the spectral properties and establish a new uniqueness 2 theorem of the half inverse problem for discontinuous impulsive Dirac operator operators by constructing the Weyl function and exploiting its relevant properties. We conclude that if the potential is known on (0,ϕ(π) ϕ(π) ), where <π, then the potential on (0, π), the partial parameters in the boundary conditions and 2 2 2 jump conditions can be uniquely determined by only one spectrum.

Convergence theorems of a faster iteration process including multivalued mappings with analytical and numerical examples

Gunduz, Birol; Alagoz, Osman; Akbulut, Sezgin

In this paper, we first give the modified version of the iteration process of Thakur et al. [15] which is faster than Picard, Mann, Ishikawa, Noor, Agarwal et al. [2] and Abbas et al. [1] processes. Secondly, we prove weak and strong convergence theorems of this iteration process for multivalued quasi nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces. Thirdly, we support our theorems with analytical examples. Finally, we compare rates of convergence for multivalued version of iteration processes mentioned above via a numerical example.

A one-step-two-mappings iterative scheme for multi-valued maps in w-hyperbolic spaces

    Gunduz, Birol; Akbulut, Sezgin

In this paper, we study a one-step iterative scheme for two multi-valued nonexpansive maps in W-hyperbolic spaces. We establish strong and ∆−convergence theorems for the proposed algorithm in a uniformly convex W-hyperbolic space which improve and extend the corresponding known results in uniformly convex Banach spaces as well as CAT(0) spaces. Our new results are also valid in geodesic spaces.

On endomorphism rings of leavitt path algebras

    Özdin, Tufan

Let E be an arbitrary graph, K be any field and A be the endomorphism ring of L:= LK (E) considered as a right L-module. Among the other results, we prove that: (1) if A is a von Neumann regular ring, then A is dependent if and only if for any two paths in L satisfying some conditions are initial of each other, (2) if A is dependent then LK (E) is morphic, (3) L is morphic and von Neumann regular if and only if L is semisimple and every homogeneous component is artinian.

A fixed point theorem for uniformly Lipschitzian mappings in modular vector spaces

Alfuraidan, M.R.; Khamsi, M.A.; Manav, Nesrin

We give a fixed point theorem for uniformly Lipschitzian mappings defined in modular vector spaces which have the uniform normal structure property in the modular sense. We also discuss this result in the variable exponent space (formula presented).

Fixed points of a finite family of I-asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in a convex metric space

    Gündüz, Birol

In this paper, we study Ishikawa iterative scheme with error terms for a finite family of I-asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in a convex metric space. We established strong convergence theorems and their applications for the proposed algorithms in a convex metric space. Our theorems improve and extend the corresponding known results in Banach spaces.

Coefficient bounds for new subclasses of bi-univalent functions

Çaǧlara, Murat; Orhana, Halit; Yaǧmur, Nihat

In the present investigation, we consider two new subclasses NΣμ (α, λ) and NΣμ(β, λ) of biunivalent functions defined in the open unit disk U = {z: |z| < 1}: Besides, we find upper bounds for the second and third coefficients for functions in these new subclasses.

Coefficient estimates for a general subclass of analytic and bi-univalent functions

Srivastava, H.M.; Bulut, Serap; Çǧglar, Murat; Yaǧmur, Nihat

In this paper, we introduce and investigate an interesting subclass Nh,p∑ (λ,μ) of analytic and bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk U. For functions belonging to the class Nh,p∑ (λ,μ), we obtain estimates on the first two Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |a2| and |a3|. The results presented in this paper would generalize and improve some recent works of Çaǧlar et al. [3], Xu et al. [10], and other authors.
