Career, which refers to the sum of an individual's experiences, particularly in the process of acquiring a profession, is not limited to the choice of a particular occupation, but is shaped by the skills and achievements acquired by an individual throughout his or her life. In this study, the effectiveness of the Reality Therapy-Based Career Counseling Psychoeducation Program (RTCCP) developed for high school students, which is one of the important processes in career development, on individuals' career engagement, depression, anxiety and stress levels was examined. In the study, a quasi-experimental design with pre-test, post-test, follow-up, control group was used. The research group consisted of 20 11th grade students. 10 individuals were assigned to the experimental group and 10 to the control group. In the experimental group, the researcher administered five sessions, one session per week, of the RTCCP, which was applied as a group. Career Career Engagement Scale (CAS) and Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) were used as data collection tools. Mann Whitney U Test and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test were used to determine the effect of the RTCCP applied to the experimental group. As a result of the study, it was determined that RTCCP was effective in increasing secondary school students' career engagement and decreasing their depression, anxiety and stress levels. The findings were discussed within the framework of the related literature and recommendations were presented.

In this research, it was hypothesized that authentic learning, which has been shown by various studies that it provides students with qualities related to daily life, could be used effectively in the social studies course. Based on this hypothesis, it was investigated how authentic learning practices in the 5th-grade social studies course affect students' financial attitude, financial literacy and financial behavior levels. The sample of the research, which was carried out with the quasi-experimental model with pretest-post test control group, one of the quantitative research methods, was formed with the convenience sampling technique. A total of 53 5th grade students took part in the research which was conducted in a middle school in Erzincan province of Türkiye. The research data were collected through the Financial Attitude Scale, Financial Literacy Behaviour Scale and Marmara Financial Literacy Attitude and behavior scale and analyzed with an independent samples t-test and mixed model ANOVA test. Consequently, it was determined that social studies education based on authentic learning practices improved students' financial attitude, financial literacy and financial behavior levels. Depending on the results obtained in the research, recommendations were made to researchers on the use of authentic learning practices in studies conducted at different grade levels and for the acquisition of different skills, and to the Ministry of National Education on the use of authentic learning in social studies coursebooks.

The aim of this study is to investigate whether the problems in the teaching material of the secondary school mathematics applications course are suitable for mathematical modeling problems. Document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. A total of 149 problems in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade mathematics applications teaching material were examined. In the analysis of the data, deductive and inductive methods were used together, and it was seen that more than half of the problems in these teaching materials were problems with realistic context. Few of these problems provide the authentic criteria that should be found in modeling problems. Similarly, only a few problems meet the openness criteria. When modeling sub-competences are examined separately, it is remarkable that many of the problems require mathematical solutions. Problems usually do not include simplification and verification steps. It has been observed that the interest in mathematical modeling has increased with the renewed mathematics applications curriculum, but this has not been reflected in the teaching materials. It is recommended to renew the teaching materials in line with the criteria taken into account.

Müzik eğitiminin birçok alanında olduğu gibi ses eğitimi de öğretmen öğrenci iletişimi paralelinde yürüyen ve birebir eğitim gerektiren bir alan eğitimidir. Eğitim aşaması, öğrencilerin bedenlerini ve seslerini keşfetmeleri uzun yıllar alabilen zorlu bir süreçtir. Bu problem odağında, alanda tecrübeli öğretmenlerin deneyimlerinden yararlanmanın, ses eğitimi alanına ışık olabileceği ve literatüre katkı sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir. Bu bağlamda 25 yıllık eğitmenlik ve sahne tecrübesiyle Ankara Devlet opera ve Balesi sanatçısı Hülya Kazan Günay’ın kişisel deneyimlerine dayanan bilg- ilerinden istifade edebilmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel bir çalışmadır ve bir anlatı araştırması kapsamında yürütülmüştür. Çok boyutlu olan bu yöntem kapsamında ise çalışmaya en uygun olan biyografik çalışma tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat formu 17 sorudan oluşmuştur. Araştırma kapsamında, sanatçı ile birebir görüşme gerçekleştirilmiş mülakatta veri kaybı yaşamamak için, görüşme katılımcının izni alınarak ses cihazı ile kaydedilmiştir. Sanatçı ile yapılan görüşmeler ve içerik analizi sonucunda: “Öğretmen öğrenci ilişkileri,” “Ses eğitiminde beden” “Ses eğitiminde farkındalık” konu başlıkları belirlenmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış sorulara dayanan görüşmeler yoluyla elde edilen veriler tematik analize tabi tutulmasının ardından her bir konu başlığı özelinde oluşturulan temalar okuyucuya sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, sanatçının zihinsel gevşeme, bedensel farkındalık, men- tal pratik vb. konularına önem verdiği sonucuna varılmış ve çalışma sanatçının verdiği bilgilerle örtüşen ilgili araştırmalarla desteklenmiştir.
