Öğrencilerin fen konuları ile ilgili hazırladıkları analoji türleri ile öğrenme stilleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi

Öğrenmenin düşünsel bir süreç olmasından yola çıkarak öğrenme stilleri açısından oluşturulan analoji çeşitlerinin belirlenmesi önem arz edebilir. Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının oluşturdukları analojilerin sahip oldukları öğrenme stilleri arasından belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Erzincan Binali Yıldırım Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim görmekte olan yaklaşık 60 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada betimsel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmada, 120 soruluk Vermunt Öğrenme Stilleri Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Vermunt öğrenmenin özelliklerini belirlemek için ''Öğrenme yönelimleri, düzenleme stratejileri, işleme stratejileri, öğrenmenin zihinsel modelleri olmak üzere dört ayrı boyut tanımlamıştır. Analojilerin kullanımı ve işlevi dikkate alınarak öğretmen adaylarının oluşturduğu analoji türleri; basit, hikâye tarzı, oyunlaştırılmış ve resimle yapılan analoji olmak üzere dört farklı tür belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, öğretmen adaylarının öğrenme stilleri açısından hazırladıkları analoji türleri belirlenmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının genellikle basit ve hikâye tarzı analoji oluşturdukları tespit edilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Analoji, Fen Eğitimi, Öğrenme Stilleri

Based on the fact that learning is an intellectual process, it may be important to determine the types of analogies created in terms of learning styles. The aim of this study is to determine among the learning styles of the analogies created by the teacher candidates. The sample of the study consists of approximately 60 teacher candidates studying in Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Faculty of Education, Department of Classroom Teaching. In this study, descriptive research model was used. In this study, the Vermunt Learning Styles Inventory with 120 questions was used. In order to determine the characteristics of Vermunt learning, he defined four different dimensions: "Learning orientations, editing strategies, processing strategies, mental models of learning." Types of analogies created by pre-service teachers considering the use and function of analogies; Four different genres were determined, namely simple, story style, gamified and painting analogy. As a result of the research, the types of analogies prepared by the teacher candidates in terms of learning styles were determined. It has been determined that pre-service teachers generally create simple and story-style analogies. Keywords: Analogy, Learning styles, Science education
