Letâif-i Rivâyât'ın fikir dünyası

Tanzimat devrinde edebî eserler, halkın birçok hususta aydınlatılmasına katkıda bulunan araçlardan biri olmuştur. Bu dönemde yayımlanan eserler topluma aktarılacak pek çok fikre sahiptir. Sanatçılar eserlerini toplumu gözeterek yazmışlardır. Tanzimat devri yazarlarından Ah¬met Mithat Efendi eserleriyle topluma fikirlerini aşılamayı hedefleyen bir sanatçıdır. Muharririn yirmi dokuz hikâye ve bir tiyatrodan oluşan Letâif-i Rivâyât adlı eseri de dev¬rine hitap eden ve devrini aşan birçok fikri içinde barındıran ve toplumu birçok noktada aydınlatan bir eserdir. Bu çalışmada Letâif-i Rivâyât dizisinde yayımlanan hikâyelerle aktarılmak istenen; eğitim, kadın, çocuk, esaret, şahsi hürriyet, ekonomi, aile ha¬yatı gibi kavramlara değinen yazarın fikirleri ortaya konulacaktır. The literary works of the Tanzimat reform era are considered to be one of the tools for contributing to public enlightenment on a wide spectrum of issues. Therefo¬re, it was inevitable that the writers pursued the public matters in their writings since these works embodied so many ideas to convey to public. Ahmet Mithat Efendi, a writer who lived during the Tanzimat era, inspired the public with his works. The writer's Letaif-i Rivâyât, which contains twenty nine sto-ries and a theater, addresses its period and surpasses it with its ideas, enlightens the public on diverse topics. In this thesis, various ideas which are related to the concepts of education, women, slavery, personal freedom, economics, family life etc. will be presented, as comprised in the series of stories in Letaif-i Rivâyât.
