8. sınıf öğrencilerinin öyküleyici türde yazdıkları metinlere televizyon programlarının etkisi

Program türlerinin çeşitliliği ve kanal sayısının artması, hemen her evde bulunabilmesi televizyonun yıllardır devam eden güçlü etkisini günümüzde de koruyabilmesini sağlamıştır. Bazen büyükleri ile beraber bazen de tek başlarına televizyon karşısında olan çocuklar ve gençler de televizyonun etki alanında yer alabilmektedirler. Bu çalışma, televizyon programlarının öğrencilerdeki etkilerini öğrencilerin kendi yazdıkları, serbest konulu, öyküleyici türdeki metinler aracılığı ile ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, durum çalışması deseni kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubu, kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi ile seçilmiştir. 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılında 8. sınıfta okuyan 3 farklı sınıftan 72 öğrenci ile iki farklı zamanda serbest konulu yazma çalışması yapılmış, sonrasında ise öğrenciler ile bireysel görüşme yapılmıştır. Öğrenci yazıları, görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler ile beraber betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi ile incelenmiştir. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda bazı öğrenci yazılarında dizi, film, çizgi film, haber, belgesel ve spor programlarının etkilerinin olduğu görülmüştür. Yazılardaki başlık, karakter, yer-mekân, olay unsurlarının televizyon programlarından alındığı; dizi, film ve çizgi film gibi olaya dayalı programların etkilerinin daha belirgin olduğu sonuçlarına da ulaşılmıştır. Televizyon programlarından etkilenilerek yazılmış öğrenci yazılarındaki olaylara bakılarak televizyonun öğrenciler üzerinde olumlu ve olumsuz etkilerinin olabileceği, televizyon programlarının diğer bazı dersler ve Türkçe derslerinde bir öğretim aracı olarak kullanılabileceği tespitleri yapılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bu sonuçlar ile birlikte bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The variety of program types and the increase in the number of channels, the fact that it can be found in almost every home, have enabled television to protect its strong influence that has been going on for years today too. Children and young people, who are sometimes in front of the television together with their elders and sometimes alone, can also take part in the influence of television. This study aims to reveal the effects of television programs on students through texts which with free themes and narrative type written by students themselves. The research was conducted using the case study design. The study group was selected with easily accessible case sampling. In the 2019-2020 academic year, free writing activities were conducted with 72 students from 3 different classes in 8th grade at two different times, and then individual interviews were conducted with the students. Student writings were analyzed with descriptive and content analysis together with the data obtained from the interviews. As a result of the examinations, it has been seen that there are some effects of TV series, movies, cartoons, news, documentaries and sports programs in some student writings. The title, character, placespace, event elements in the texts are taken from television programs; It has also been concluded that the effects of event-based programs such as series, movies and cartoons are more pronounced. By looking at the events in the student texts written under the influence of television programs, it has been determined that television can have positive and negative effects on students, and that television programs can be used as a teaching tool in some other courses and Turkish lessons. With these results obtained in the research, some recommendations were made.
