2614 numaralı Eğin kazası Nüfus Defteri: Müslim ve Gayrimüslim nüfusun transkripsiyon ve değerlendirmesi

Nüfus sayımları dönemin sosyal, demografik ve kısmen ekonomik durumunu gösteren önemli kayıtlardır. Sayımlar neticesinde kişilerin nasıl yaşadığı ve bölgenin durumu hakkında fikirler ortaya çıkmaktadır. Eğin kazası özelinde ele alınan bu defter de bölgenin geçim kaynaklarına dair bilgiler ile kişilerin ve onların birlikte iş yapmasından kaynaklı birbirleri ile olan ilişkilerine yer verilmiştir. Çalışmamızda kullanılan defter özelinde bölgede yaşayan halk ve bu halkın kullandığı kendi isimleri başta olmak üzere aile isimleri, lakapları ve icra ettikleri işler dolayısı ile bağlı bulundukları esnaf zümresine ait bilgiler detaylı bir şekilde kaydedilmiştir. Defterde her esnaf grubuna ait idareciler kaydedilmiş varsa esnaf zümresinin özür durumları ve sosyal statülerini gösteren ifadeleri ile nereden veya nereli olduklarına dair bilgilerinde yer aldığı görülmüştür. Müslim ve gayrimüslim nüfustan oluşan bu defterde, esnaf gruplarına kayıtlı şahısların birbirleri arasındaki kefalet durumlarının da kayıt altına alındığı tespit edilmiştir. Bölgedeki nüfusun birlikte iş yaptıkları ve gerektiğinde birbirlerine kefil oldukları görülmüştür. Ustalık, kalfalık ve çıraklık durumlarının da çoğu kişide belirtildiği defterde, kefil işlerinin bölgenin önde gelen kişileri tarafından yapıldığı anlaşılmıştır. Population censuses are important records showing the social, demographic and partly economic situation of the period. As a result of the censuses, ideas emerge about how people live and the situation of the region. This notebook, which is specifically addressed to the Eğin district, includes information about the livelihoods of the region and the relationships between people and each other due to the fact that they do business together. In the notebook used in our study, information about the people living in the region, their own names, family names, nicknames, and the tradesmen they were affiliated with due to the work they performed were recorded in detail. Managers belonging to each tradesman group were recorded in the book, and if any, statements showing the disability and social status of the tradesman group were included, as well as information about where they came from. It has been determined that in this book, which consists of Muslim and non-Muslim population, the surety situations between individuals registered in tradesmen groups are also recorded. It has been observed that the population in the region does business together and vouches for each other when necessary. In the notebook, where mastery, journeyman and apprenticeship statuses are stated for most people, it is understood that the guarantor jobs are done by the leading people of the region.
