Sağlık yönetimi mesleğinde ve eğitiminde karşılaşılan sorunlar üzerine bir araştırma

Bu araştırma, sağlık yönetimi mesleği ve eğitiminde mevcut sorunları tespit etmeyi ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerileri geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın veri toplama aşamasında, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Sağlık Yönetimi bölümü öğrencilerine anket formu, bölüm öğretim üyelerine ise yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen nicel veriler t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) ve korelasyon analizi ile değerlendirilirken, nitel veriler DEMATEL yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda sağlık yönetimi bölümlerinde karşılaşılan başlıca sorunların; alan dışı akademisyenlerin yoğunluğu, öğrencilerin bölümü bilinçsiz tercihi, standardize edilmiş bir eğitim müfredatının eksikliği, mezunların istihdam sorunları ve mesleğin yeterince sahiplenilmemesi olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Bu sorunlar, eğitim, politika ve mesleğin sahiplenilmemesi olmak üzere üç ana kategori altında sınıflandırılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, öğrencilerin yaş, cinsiyet ve sınıf değişkenleri ile eğitim sürecinde karşılaşılan sorunlar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca, tespit edilen sorunların önem derecesi sıralaması eğitim, politika ve mesleğin sahiplenilmemesi şeklinde belirlenmiştir.

This research aims to identify current issues in the field of health management and education and to develop solutions for these problems. During the data collection phase of the study, a questionnaire was administered to students in the Health Management department at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, while a semi-structured interview form was used for the department faculty members. The quantitative data obtained were analyzed using t-tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and correlation analysis, while the qualitative data were analyzed using the DEMATEL method. The results of the research indicate that the main issues faced in health management departments include the prevalence of academics from unrelated fields, students' unconscious choice of the department, the lack of a standardized educational curriculum, employment issues for graduates, and insufficient ownership of the profession. These problems were classified into three main categories: education, policy, and ownership of the profession. Analysis results show statistically significant differences between students' age, gender, and class variables in relation to the issues encountered during the educational process. Additionally, the ranking of the importance of the identified problems was determined as education, policy, and ownership of the profession.
