2068/254 Numaralı Trabzon Şeriye Sicil Defterinin Transkripsiyonu ve Değerlendirilmesi Şer'iyye sicilleri birinci elden kaynak olmaları bakımından Osmanlı tarihinde büyük öneme sahiptir. Kadı sicilleri de dediğimiz bu belgelerde yer alan bilgiler, bizzat olayın meydana geldiği dönemin en yakın şahididir. Tutulan kayıtların mahkemede sahitler huzurunda olması güvenirliğini daha da arttırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada 2068/254 numaralı Trabzon Şer'iyye Sicili'nin transkripsiyon ve değerlendirilmesi yapılarak genelde Osmanlı Tarihi ve özelde Trabzon Tarihi çalışmalarına katlı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır. Transkripsiyonu yapılan sicil hicri 1318-1319 miladi 1900-1901 yıllarını kapsamaktadır. "2068/254 Numaralı Trabzon Şer'iyye Sicilinin Transkripsiyonu ve Değerlendirmesi" isimli tez çalışması toplamda giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında şer'iyye sicilinin genel özelliklerine değinilmiştir. Konunun daha iyi anlaşılması için birinci bölümde Osmanlı hukukunun genel yapısı, şer'iyye mahkemeleri, mahkeme personelleri, şer'iyye sicillerin tanımı, önemi, ortaya çıkışı, sicillerdeki belge türleri incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümün de ise sicilde yer alan kayıtların konularına göre tasnifi ve değerlendirmesi yapılarak sonuçlar tablolar ile gösterilmiştir. Transcription and Evaluation of Trabzon Serif Record Book No. 2068/254 The Sharia records are of great importance in Ottoman history as they are first hand sources. The information contained in these documents, which we also call the Kadi records, is the closest witness to the period in which the event occurred. The fact that the records kept are in the presence of witnesses in court further increases their reliability. In this study, it is aimed to contribute to the studies of Ottoman History in general and Trabzon History in particular by transcribing and evaluating the Trabzon Sharia Record numbered 2068/254. The transcribed register covers the years 1318-1319 AH and 1900-1901 AD. The thesis titled "Transcription and Evaluation of Trabzon Sharia Register No. 2068/254" consists of an introduction and two sections in total. The introduction section addresses the general characteristics of the Sharia register. In order to better understand the subject, the first section examines the general structure of Ottoman law, Sharia courts, court personnel, the definition, importance, emergence of Sharia registers, and the types of documents in the registers. In the second section, the records in the register are classified and evaluated according to their subjects, and the results are shown in tables.
