Değerler eğitimi bağlamında yardımseverliğin sanat yoluyla ifadesi

Bu araştırmada değerler eğitimi bağlamında yardımseverliğin sanat yoluyla ifadesinin öğrencilerin çalışmalarına nasıl yansıdığının tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu ölçüt örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenen 2023-2024 yılında MEB'e bağlı özel bir ortaokulda öğrenim gören 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma göstergebilimsel yaklaşımın benimsendiği sanat temelli nitel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın verilerini yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu, öğrencilerin ürettikleri sanatsal ürünleri ve öğrencilerin hikayeleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın nitel verileri betimsel analiz ile çözümlenirken öğrencilerin ortaya çıkardıkları özgün ürünleri ise göstergebilimsel analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre öğrenciler yardımseverliği; karşılıksız yardım etme, zor durumda olanlara destek olma, toplumsal dayanışmayla birlikte içten gelen bir duygu olduğunu ve severek yapıldığını ifade etmiştir. Ayrıca yardımseverlik ile ilgili yaptıkları çalışmalarına bakıldığında maddi ve manevi olmak üzere iki alt başlıkta yanıtlar verdiği görülmüştür. Bu bağlamda öğrencilerin bulundukları zamanın güncel yardım kuruluşlarının yanı sıra eski dönemlerde yer alan yardım faaliyetlerine de söylemlerinde yer verdikleri görülmüştür. Çizilen resimler incelendiğinde öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun üç gösterge türünü de kullandığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin yardımseverlik kavramı bağlamında yazdıkları ile çizdiklerinin birbiri ile örtüştüğü saptanmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Değerler Eğitimi, Yardımseverlik, Görsel Sanatlar Eğitimi.

In this study, it was aimed to determine how the expression of benevolence through art in the context of values education was reflected in students' works. The study group of the research consists of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students studying in a private secondary school affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in 2023-2024, determined by the criterion sampling method. The research is an art-based qualitative study in which semiotic approach is adopted. The data of the study consisted of a semi-structured interview form, artistic products produced by students and students' stories. While the qualitative data of the research were analyzed by descriptive analysis, the original products of the students were analyzed by semiotic analysis method. According to the findings of the study, the students generally defined benevolence as helping without reciprocity, supporting those in difficult situations, social solidarity, a feeling that comes from within and that it is done with love. In addition, it was observed that they gave answers under two sub-headings: material and spiritual. In addition, it was seen that they included the current aid organizations of their time as well as the aid activities in the past in their discourse. When the drawings were analyzed, it was seen that the majority of the students used all three types of indicators. When the concept of benevolence that the students wrote and the concept of benevolence that they drew were examined, it was seen that they overlapped with each other.
