Özet

Even though fictive texts were primarily related to literature, the messages in the fictive texts for children are also known to be effective in creating the type of man desired. Thus, in this study, 24 special issues of Turkcem under the topic “Let’s make it live the fun of mother tongue in the Balkans” published in 2015-2016 were examined. In data analysis of the study, the texts in the issues were found by the researcher and one field specialist then the fictive texts in two issues randomly selected among those comprising the study corpus were read each by the researcher and the field specialist and the fundemental messages of the texts were determined. These messages were encoded comparatively and coherence was sought. When no obvious problem was encountered in encodings made by the encoders, the researcher indexed 20 issues left on his own. The results of the study suggested that the leading messages in Turkcem magazine were related to such values as “sage, faith, feeling, environment, Kosovo and Balkan history”. Except for the environment related messages in the issues, all of the message were found to take place in the texts as a result of experiences lived in Kosova. In particular, it is possible to point out that the messages regarding sage, faith, value, Kosova and Balkan history contribute to identity construction of a generation “wise, value dependent and sensitive to national values”
