Özet

Urticaria is a condition characterized by the development of wheals (hives), angioedema, or both. Urticaria is classified as acute or chronic according to the duration of its occurrence. The most common symptoms are itching and wheals. The activity of the disease in spontaneous urticaria should be assessed both in clinical care and trials with the Urticaria Activity Score. The first goal of treatment should be the identification and elimination of the underlying causes. Although urticaria is one of the most common dermatoses, further research is required on the triggers and inflammatory processes that cause the disease. © 2025 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
