Check Endorsement and its Legal Outcomes

Circulation function of check and its transfer for this purpose is an unavoidable reality in commercial life. Typical transfer type of check is through endorsement. Endorsement, for the purpose of cashing the promissory note and thus transferring the right/rights to someone else, is a statement in which the rightful owner of the check states his will in writing on check and signs to confirm. In our study, the term endorsement, type of endorsement, time of endorsement and endorsement drawees are studied; endorsements and results of bearer and order check are discussed in the light of doctrines, views and judicial decisions
