Omophlus flavipennis Küster (Coleoptera: Alleculidae: Omophlinae) a new oleaster (Eleagnus angustofolia L.) pest for Turkey from Erzurum

Özet

In this study, Omophlus flavipennis Küster is recorded a new pest for the oleaster from Erzurum in Turkey. O. flavipennis was described, some of ıts biology and damage on oleaster was observed in Erzurum province in 2004-2006. O. flavipennis appears at the beginning in second week of May in Erzurum. This species is eating flowers of oleaster in second week of June and the damaged flower shrivel and fall. It has one generation in year.
