For States, raw materials and products derived from raw materials have always been important. In this study, the origin of the cannabis plant, the production and consumption of cannabis in the Ottoman Empire and the studies on cannabis in the Republican period were discussed. Various products produced from cannabis and their productions are mentioned in the Ottoman and Republican periods. It is stated in which regions cannabis production is concentrated In addition, the attempts to open a factory in order to increase production both in the Ottoman Empire and in the early years of the Republic and their results were mentioned. Which countries in the World produced how much cannabis has been demonstrated and in this case compared to the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey. Distribution of cannabis lands from Ottoman to Republic according to production regions and the results obtained in parallel with this distribution are mentioned In the present study, the results of the government in the determination of the problems in the production of cannabis since the first years of the Republic and also by means of various experts in order to produce better quality cannabis were given. In general, this study focuses on the many benefits of cannabis production for governments. Moreover, the chronological process was followed by including tables on the distribution and export of cannabis production by years. In this study, especially the Ottoman Archives and Republican Archives documents, Kastamonu Province Yearbook, Hakimiyeti Milliye, Ulus, Vakit, Aksam newspapers and periodical research works were mentioned and the production and development of cannabis from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic were mentioned.

Oil fields in Anatolia were begun to be located with the understanding of the importance of oil in the Ottoman Empire, especially during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II. Formerly, many attempts were conducted to operate the oil in the fields such as Van (Bargiri) and Sinop (Boyabat) both in the Ottoman Empire and in the Republican Period. The government prepared the concession agreement for the evaluation of the oil fields in these two regions and presented the agreements to both foreign and national entrepreneurs in order to find and operate the oil. This situation was in favour of Turkish entrepreneurs in the Republican Period with the help of lessons taken from the economic difficulties in the Ottoman Empire and the advent of technology. However, this study showed that there was not much economic output from the oil lands in Van and Sinop. In addition, the provisions of the contracts were not fulfilled properly and the planned oil was not drilled at that time. This study entitled “Oil Practices in Van and Sinop from Ottoman Empire to Turkish Republic (1876-1950)”, aimed to show the existence of oil in the regions with the examination of the concession processes taking place on the regions, archival documents and copyright works. The attempts of the Russians on the oil fields of Van and Sinop were also explained in the study. Then, the adventure of oil in these regions from Ottoman Empire to Turkish Republic was dealt with in detail in the light of the information.

In the city history researches, the administrative system and economic structure in the period under investigation of the region is very important. In this study, the administrative system and the economic structure of Kırşehir from the second half of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century have been examined. In the administrative part, important information has been given by following the chronological process about the districts, sub-districts and villages affiliated to Kırşehir Sanjak. In addition, the information about the tribes settled in the Kırşehir Sanjak and the situation of the immigrants who were inhabited has been compiled. In the economic structure of Kırşehir Sanjak which is the subject of our study, agriculture, livestock, weaving and mining have been examined under different titles. Especially carpet weaving is a very important value for weaving in Kırşehir. The drought that took place in the Kırşehir Sanjak especially has also been mentioned and how the drought affected the economy of Kırşehir. In our study, we have given extensive information about the administrative system and economic structure of Kırşehir from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic, based on documents of the Ottoman and Republican Archives, the yearbooks of the Ankara Province and Ottoman Empire.

Kayseri Tayyare Fabrikası sadece Kayseri şehri için önemli bir yatırım olmayıp Türkiye Cumhuriyeti içinde önemli bir iktisadi yatırım oldu. Mezkur fabrikanın kurulmuş olması Türkiye ve özelde Kayseri için iktisadi, sosyal, kültürel alanlarda önemli gelişmeleri de beraberinde getirmiştir. Özellikle yerli ve milli üretimin ülke içinde yapılabileceğinin bir örneği olmuştur. Türk milletinin kabiliyetini ve azmini ortaya konulmasında bir başarı hikayesidir. Hali hazırda bu gün Kayseri Şehri Türkiye'nin sanayi alanında önemli bir üretim üssü haline gelmişse bu gibi iktisadi kuruluşların tecrübe ve bilgi birikimi önemli katkı sunmuştur. Mezkur fabrikanın kurulması 1920'li yıllarda Almanya ve Türkiye arasında siyasi ve iktisadi ilişkilerin gelişmesinde de olumlu bir etkiye sahip olmuştur

Sivas Vilayeti dokumacılık alanında Selçuklu, Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet devirlerinde hatırı sayılır bir mevkii işgal etti. Bölgenin iklim ve sosyokültürel yapısına uygun en önemli iktisadi faaliyetlerden biri olarak dokuma imalatı geliştirilmiştir. Sivas'ta dokuma imalatında halı, kilim, perde, sicim, aba, şayak, keçe, çorap, şal, çarşaf, yoluk, dokuma kumaşları gibi daha birçok dokumacılık yapılmıştır. Bu alanlarda ortaya konan eserler gerek yurt içinde gerekse yurt dışında haklı bir şöhrete nail olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Osmanlı'dan Cumhuriyete Sivas Vilâyeti'nde dokuma sektörü ve gelişimi hakkında bilgi verilmeye çalışılarak bunun yanında adı geçen faaliyetin şehre hem iktisadi hem de sosyal etkileri ve katkıları verilmeye çalışılmıştır
